Hello my name is Colin and I'm originally from Santa Fe, NM.
I love photography and began inadvertently taking modeling photos 10 years ago in high school. Since then, I joined the Navy where I was my ships photographer. And over the last 4 years I was a photographer at my university newspaper and found my passion in photojournalism.
These multiple experiences with photography have taught me to look at photography from every way possible and in doing so I discovered that I love making photos of people more than anything. I try to capture peoples true personalities in my photos. I keep my post processing to a minimum. To me, this makes the images feel more real and when you look natural and real the most incredible images are made.
I tend to shoot mostly on location, and my shots tend to be on the more editorial side of fashion, as this is where I see the most real representation of the personalities of my subjects.
I've been taking kids picture since I was a kid, and always have a blast doing it. Just this summer alone I captured hundreds of images of a handful of kids who were friends and family. I also shoot head-shots, engagements, graduation photos, lifestyle, family and occasionally weddings.
