Aisha Returns part 1

Aisha was my very first friend/model I ever made pictures with. She quickly became my first muse. I haven't shot with her in a few years since she moved to Boston. Well after a chance encounter of seeing her FB update she was back in Santa Fe for the Holidays. It proceeded to Snow for 24 hours and dumped 12-19" of snow in Santa Fe. So naturally we decided to do some winter shots. I love them.

Abby and Jake

Abby and Jake were my first couple I got to do a maternity shoot with. They are clients of my Mom, she's a midwife and owns Family Tree Midwifery here in Santa Fe. We only had a little bit of time but when you have a couple who loves each other like they did the pictures come very naturally. They were a great and sweet young couple. Abby just gave birth to a 9lb 2oz baby boy named Torrent on Dec 17.

A new career path

Well Ive decided that in all of my years in photography Im going to narrow it down and specialize in children's photography. I've also decided on a name for my photo project and it will be called (505)ography.





I've been taking kids picture since I was a kid and always have a blast doing it. Just this summer alone i captured hundreds of images of a handfull of kids who were friends and family. The result was noticing I had an entire portfolio of images without ever trying to make one. Well I'm going to start posting photos here and hopefully you all enjoy them. And hopefully I can make this into a fun business combining my two of my favorite things; kids and photography.
